Observations:

January 2013 – Binnington has gathered a nice plethora of awards early on in his career. He was named the CHL Memorial Cup Most Outstanding Goaltender when he backstopped his Owen Sound Attack to a 2010 OHL Championship. Binnington recently represented Canada at the 2013 WJHC and played well in relief of Malcolm Subban on the big stage.  He is currently in the middle of a strong OHL campaign where he leads all puck stoppers in save percentage (.934%) and should gain valuable experience as his strong Owen Sound Attack team looks to go deep into the playoffs.  Brendan Ross

Binnington has performed well in big game competition is appears to be developing into a potential 1A/1B complimentary goaltender.
