Observations:

December 2012 – The Waterloo Black Hawk (USHL) defenseman fooled people a bit when he committed to Boston College last month. Originally set to attend other NCAA schools, he will attend BC next fall. McCoshen is a plays tough physically and holds a decent pair of mitts showing that he can make passes and get quality shots on net. He will block shots, disturb opponents along the wall and kill penalties effectively.

Fantasy Outlook: D+

McCoshen is a potential second round defenseman in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
