Observations:

March 2013 - JT Compher was named CCM Forward of the Week (ending March 9th) after registering two goals and seven points with a plus-6 rating in two weekly games. Compher currently sits second in USA Under-18 Team scoring with 17 points in 14 contests and his 13 assists are best among his teammates. Compher is a pass-first forward that has modest offensive upside but his two-way versatility will almost assure him of a top 50 selection at the upcoming 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Brendan Ross

December 2012 – Compher is definitely getting NHL scouting attention this season. The Michigan commit is a possible 1st or 2nd round draft selection in 2013. The biggest asset perhaps in his game is his drive. He gives a relentless effort each shift. This was exemplified at the All-American Prospects Game this past September. Compher was not afraid to finish his checks. He has high hockey IQ and awareness in both the offensive and defensive zones. He also can skate and possesses a nice set of mitts. The best part is he plays a determined game.
