Observations:
March, 2013 - The Leafs acquired the rights to Lasch (along with a seventh rounder) for checking center David Steckel. After watching the Leafs give Mike Kostka a chance, Lasch will get a fair shake if there is an opening in the fall. He's signed to a two-way contract for next year. - Dobber
March, 2013 - Obviously not happy with thriving in the ECHL yet getting little opportunity in the AHL, Lasch has moved onto the SEL and is probably done in terms of chasing the NHL dream. - Dobber December, 2012 – Lasch is a hardworking winger with good hockey sense and quick feet. At the pro level, coaches have been reluctant to use him because of his defensive deficiencies and is lack of size. The lockout has, for the most part, kept him out of the AHL thanks to some players on Norfolk who should be with the Ducks. But in 2011-12 he led the ECHL in points with 62 in 59 games.
Fantasy Outlook: D+ At his age, he needs to be further along in the organizational depth chart. It's a tough hill to climb and it's doubtful he'll climb it.
