June 2013 - Jaskin has improved tremendously this year. He finished with 46 goals and 99 points in 51 games for Moncton of the QMJHL before getting promoted to the St. Louis Blues for a pair of games. Consider him a future scoring line player who is relevant in all fantasy leagues including multi-category leagues that count PIM. Eric Daoust
January 2013 - Blues prospect forward Dmitrij Jaskin has been named the QMJHL Player of the Week as well as CHL's Player of the Week after tallying seven goals and four assists for 11 points boosting his Moncton Wildcats' team to a 4-0 record. A 2011 second round pick of St. Louis, Jaskin sits in the top three in league scoring with 75 points through just 39 games. Brendan Ross
January 2013- Jaskin is having a fantastic season and currently sits seventh in QMJHL scoring despite playing ten less games than most of his peers. He was also solid for the Czech Republic at the World Junior championships where he put up six point in six games. He has 14 points in his last five games and has been one of the hottest players in the CHL. Derek LeBlanc
August 2012 - Dmitrij Jaškin is a strong power forward with a good shot. He has is well polished with the puck and is not afraid of the physical challenges. Jaškin made his debut in the Czech's men's league as a 17-year-old in 2010. He struggled offensively in his 2011-12 season only recording two points in 30 games. Jaškin has been criticized for attitude problems and It is certainly concerning. He will move to play for Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL this season.
