Observations:
January, 2013- Broadhurst has been recalled to Rockford in the AHL by the Blackhawks. He had 31 points in 36 games for Toledo in the ECHL this season. Rich Dillon
July, 2012 – Broadhurst signed a pro contract following his junior season at Nebraska-Omaha, where he served as team captain and was also the team’s leading scorer. He’s an honest player who gives his all at both ends of the ice. Broadhurst finished his collegiate career with 40 goals and 50 assists in 110 games with the Mavericks, including 36 points in 38 games last season. He reported to Rockford after signing and had two assists in eight games with the Ice Hogs. Broadhurst is from suburban Chicago, and his younger brother Alex was drafted by Chicago in 2011.
Has some skill, but unlikely to ever have a top six role in the NHL.
