June, 2012 - Joonas Korpisalo is a talented goalie from Jokerit Helsinki. He was chosen as the best goalie in the Junior A SM-liiga in 2012 when he posted the best GAA and saving percentage numbers in the league. He also broke the record of most wins by a goalie in the league. He has told Finnish media that he will move to play in the CHL in 2012/13. Korpisalo is a son of a former SM-liiga and Team Finland veteran Jari Korpisalo. Miika Arponen

Fantasy Outlook: C-

Still 19, Korpisalo has plenty of time to mature and improve his game. However, he does have a few decent goalies competing against him within the system (Oscar Dansk, Anton Forsberg, and Martin Oullette). He’s an aggressive goalie. If he can control that and gain a little strength, he might have a shot.
