Observations:
December 2012 - Guelph Storm forward Scott Kosmachuk has been named OHL Player of the Week (ending November 25th) after registering six goals and eight points with a shiny plus-6 rating on the week. Through 27 games in his third OHL campaign, KLosmachuk has tallied 18 goals for 32 points to go along with 45 PIM. The Jets' prospect is looking like he has the potential to become a valuable member in deeper roto leagues. Brendan Ross
June, 2012 – Kosmachuk was one of two 30 goal scorers on a young Guelph team and was the highest scoring 1994-born player in the OHL. He is a player that will do anything to win including dropping the mitts to spark his team. He is a gritty forward with a knack for irritating his opponents and his scoring touch featuring an elite release adds a real nice offensive element to his game.
Kosmachuk is one of the better multi-cat contributors available in this draft class. It is unlikely that he develops into a point-per-game player but he will reward fantasy owners in several categories, notably goals and penalty minutes.
