February 2013 - Cousins has been suspended four games for a checking from behind incident that took place Saturday, February 23rd versus the London Knights. Cousins remains the leading scorer in the OHL but by only one point over Charlie Sarault so this suspension will affect his chances at winning the scoring title. Brendan Ross
February 2013 - Nick Cousins has been named the OHL Player of the Week (ending February 17th) after racking up nine points in just two games. Cousins posted a four assist game and followed that up with a five-point performance finishing the week with a healthy plus-4 rating. Cousins is a skilled agitating forward that should be owned in all keeper leagues with prospect spots with his ability to rack up points and penalty minutes. He is also priviledged to be in the fairly shallow prospect pool of the Philadelphia Flyers so his wait shouldn't be too long. Brendan Ross
February 2013 - Seems to be a coaching change was just what the doctor ordered for the Greyhounds. Team seems to be playing with much more passion for coach Sheldon Keefe and leading the way not only for the club lead in scoring but for the entire league to date Cousins has amassed 93 points. Currently Cousins is riding an eight game point streak where he has put up four goals and 16 assists. If he can keep his character issues in check he could have a bright future. - Travis Watson
August, 2012 - Cousins was charged with sexual assault in Sault Ste. Marie. Players have bounced back fromt his stuff, but other players have not. It certainly doesn't help though. - Dobber
April 2012 – If there is any system in the league that Nick Cousins can successfully model his game after, it is the Philadelphia Flyers. After wrapping up an impressive third campaign in the OHL, netting 88 points in 65 games with 88 PIM, Nick signed a three-year contract with the club. Given his size, Cousins plays a tough, competitive and complete game. While he is feisty and hard to get off of the puck, Cousins will need to bulk up in order to be physically ready to play in the NHL. Gates Imbeau
Fantasy Outlook: C+
Cousins has the modest upside of a power forward. Will need time to develop.
