Observations:
March 2013 - Despite decent college numbers, Hansen has slid seamlessly into the role of checker at the AHL level. Therein lies his NHL future. - Dobber
March, 2012 – Drafted by the Blue Jackets way back in 2007, Hansen completed his career at the University of Minnesota by having his best offensive season. His 38 points in 43 games nearly doubled his season best, and was good for fifth on the team. Hansen is an honest, hard-working forward who gets involved physically. He was signed by Columbus and assigned to the AHL.
Fantasy Outlook: D+
Hansen is not a dynamic offensive player, and is a long-shot to see an offensive NHL role in the future.
