Observations:

April 2013 – He is quickly becoming a player who has a history of getting and making the most of opportunities. His next adventure brings him back to Ontario for the Senators. He will jump into another top six, scoring role with the Sens. Provided he does produce, this will likely be his home for a long while. Jason Banks

March 2013 - Conacher made the Lightning to begin the season, and continues to lead all rookies in scoring while holding down a top-six spot with the Lightning. Conacher has been inconsistent but as long as he's playing with any of Tampa's big three the points will come. Rich Dillon

April 2012 – Conacher is a very small, quick and shifty winger. Despite being undrafted and unsigned through his NCAA career and his first 11 months of his pro-career, Cory is very much on the radar of the NHL. In his first full pro season, Cory earned the AHL’s ‘Les Cunningham Award’ as the AHL MVP, this is an award voted on by Players, Coaches and Media from each of the AHL’s 30 cities. This shows how much of an influence and how much of an impact he made for the Norfolk Admirals, a team that went 28-0 to end the season. He also was the AHL’s ‘Rookie of the Year’. Yzerman may choose to keep Cory in the AHL to start next season, but his hand could be forced, as the Bolts only have nine regular forwards under contract for next season. After this season, Conacher leads a group of young talents including: J.T. Brown, Richard Panik, Tyler Johnson and Vlad Namestnikov that will be vying for a couple spots on the roster next season.

Fantasy Outlook:  B+

He looks pretty secure as an NHL is an organization that is not as deep and developed, He must now add consistency in his production to keep fantasy owners happy.

Footage:

Cory scores a nice goal after creating separation from defending center Ilari Filppula (who hasn’t played in North America since).
