Observations:
October, 2012 - Lehterä has been on fire this fall. He has five goals and 11 assists in the first ten games of the season and he was chosen as the best forward of September in the KHL, in front of names like Evgeni Malkin, Alex Ovechkin or Pavel Datsyuk. Lehterä is rumoured to have an NHL out clause in his two-year contract with Sibir and will consider a move to the NHL if he gets a one-way contract after the season. Miika Arponen April, 2011 – Lehterä is a highly skilled and creative pivot who has a good hockey vision and is good protecting the puck. He uses his size well but needs to improve his defensive game and skating in order to become an top six forward in the NHL. Other problem with him is that he requires a one-way contract to come to the NHL and it’s not clear whether St. Louis is willing to give him one.
Fantasy Outlook: B- Already NHL ready, but not sure if he’s coming over.
