April 2013 - The budding power forward has shown great tenacity at the AHL level putting on a display of strong skating and aggressiveness for the St. John's Ice Caps. Klingberg picked up 11 goals and 23 points in 64 games but he also contributes well on the defensive side of the puck. Those skills should see him earn some time with the big club very soon and it appears he will be slated as a bottom line forward (3rd/4th). Brendan Ross
March 2012 – Klingberg was an early season cut from the Jets roster after six NHL games. The big Swede uses his size and speed extremely well to forecheck, and drive to the net. He thinks the game well in all three zones and despite his eagerness to forecheck and hit, is seldom out of position.
Fantasy Outlook: C+
Klingberg will make the NHL almost certainly, but whether he will become a top six power forward, or a bottom six checking line player remains unclear, though the latter seems more likely.
