Observations:

 February 2013 - Bruins 2012 1st round selection, Malcolm Subban has been named the Canadian Hockey League's Vaughn Goaltender of the Week (ending February 24th) after posting a 3-0-0-0 record including a shutout victory and a goals against average of 1.67 and save percentage of .952. Subban's Belleville Bulls have been a rock defensively this season so his statistics are a bit skewed but he is definitely a difference maker between the pipes. Brendan Ross

December 2012 - Malcolm Subban was one of four goaltenders invited to take part in Canada's National Junior Selection camp for the 2013 World Junior Championships in Ufa, Russia. Subban is the favourite to lead Canada between the pipes heading into camp and his play for the Belleville Bulls shows that he can be a big-game performer. Brendan Ross

November 2012 – After signing with Boston and returning to Belleville, Subban has been rather strong and continues to show growth. He has compiled an excellent 2.24 goals against average and a sparkling .930 save percentage. Recently, he shutout the skilled Russian, Super Series team through his half of the game. Jason Banks

October 2012 - Malcolm Subban was named to the 2012 Subway Super Series Team OHL Roster slated to compete in a six-game series versus the Russian National Junior Team in November. Brendan Ross

June, 2012 - The second goaltender selected, Malcolm Subban becomes property of the Boston Bruins after being selected 24th overall. Brendan Ross

March, 2012  – The younger brother of Montreal Canadiens defender P.K. Subban might play a different position, but he is no less talented. Belleville Bulls’ goaltending prospect Malcolm Subban is arguably the best North American netminder of the 2012 draft class. Blessed with athleticism and a fiery work ethic, Subban placed among the top five in goals against average and save percentage in 2011-12. John Canario

Fantasy Outlook: B+
He is still a few years away from contributing in fantasy, as he has yet to be drafted and NHL teams generally don’t rush their netminders along. If he continues to develop at his current rate, he could be a reliable starting NHL goaltender in a few years.
