Observations:
March 2013 - A serious wrist laceration took Kabanov out of the lineup early in his pro career. Now recovered, he's still getting his timing back....He'll need to stay healthy in 2013-14 and make strides, because his stock has fallen...Loads of raw talent is still there. - Dobber
March, 2012 – Kabanov’s development path has been interesting to say the least, but the move to Shawinigan has been great for his development. He’s more consistent and is having his most productive QMJHL season to date with 50 points in 46 games. Kabanov has great hands and plays with a lot of energy but has a questionable track record. He may take some time to adjust at the next level. - Derek LeBlanc
Fantasy Outlook: B-
Kabanov seems to be turning things around and the AHL is likely the next stop. He has top six talent and the Islanders lack of depth at right wing could accelerate his path to the NHL.
