Observations:

April 2013- McKenzie has signed a two year ELC with the Stars effective with the 2013-14 season. He is currently on an ATO with the AHL Stars for the remainder of this season. In his final collegiate season at Miami(OH) he had 24 points and 80 PIM in 39 games. Rex Doty

February, 2012 – A physical, hard-nosed player, McKenzie is versatile enough to play both forward and defense at Miami (Ohio) University. He is limited offensively (53 points in 113 career games), but has good defensive awareness.

Looks like a career minor-leaguer at this point.
