Observations:

 

January 2014 - McKenzie was named the CCM/AHL Rookie of the Month after recording 12 points (five goals, seven assists) through 11 games in the month of December. Leading the Stars to a 9-1-1 record, he tallied five multiple-point performances, including the game-winning goal on the road against San Antonio on Dec. 15. The 22-year old rookie has emerged into one of the Stars' most intriguing prospects, recording 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) through 37 games this season. Clayton Bailey


April 2013- McKenzie has signed a two year ELC with the Stars effective with the 2013-14 season. He is currently on an ATO with the AHL Stars for the remainder of this season. In his final collegiate season at Miami(OH) he had 24 points and 80 PIM in 39 games. Rex Doty
