Observations:
December 2012 – Is adjusting nicely to the pro game with 11 points in 27 games thus far. Needs to find the score sheet more often and will likely need to lead the Griffins in scoring in the future years before considered for a role in Detroit. His size is very attractive going forward and is already NHL quality. Jason Banks
April, 2012 - Sheahan has decided to forego his final collegiate season to sign a pro contract with the Wings. He will begin at Grand Rapids in the AHL. Rich Dillon February, 2012 – Showing slow but steady progress in his junior season at Notre Dame, Sheahan is having his best collegiate year. He has soft hands and is capable in all situations, including being a fine penalty-killer.
Sheahan looks to be a top six power forward in Detroit and should make the jump in two or three seasons, however, he is several years away from having a fantasy impact.
