Observations:

January 2014 - Heading into weekend action as of January 24th, Generals' forward Michael Dal Colle sat 5th in OHL scoring with 29 goals and 67 points through 46 games showcasing his wicked shot and mind-blowing playmaking ability. Michael Dal Colle was ranked 4th onTSN's Bob McKenzie's 2014 NHL Draft Mid-Term Rankings. Brendan Ross

November 2013 - Dal Colle is coming off a career high five assist game versus the Ottawa 67's on November 5th in 7-1 win. The big rangy winger has demonstrated elite vision and playmaking ability in the early games of his draft season. His ability to find open  lanes and execute crisp passes opens up the ice for his linemates and scoring chances almost immediately follow. Dal Colle's style of game reminds me of Joe Thornton as he really slows the game down with his patience, possession skills and passing ability. Brendan Ross

November 2013 – Michael Dal Colle of the Oshawa Generals was named to the OHL roster for the 2013 SUBWAY Super Series. Dal Colle’s 11 goals and 28 points through 17 games places him second in scoring among first time 2014 NHL Draft eligible OHL skaters. Brendan Ross

September 2013 - Oshawa Generals sophomore Michael Dal Colle was named OHL Player of the Week (ending September 22) after scoring four goals and seven points in his first two games of the season. Brendan Ross

August 2013 – Dal Colle is coming off an impressive rookie campaign with the Oshawa Generals in 2012-13 where he registered 15 goals and 48 points in 63 contests. The Richmond Hill native’s game translated seamlessly to the Ontario Hockey League and that comes as no surprise since Dal Colle already owns good size, hockey sense and two-way aptitude. As the former 7th overall selection in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection Draft, Oshawa believes strongly that Dal Colle has all of the attributes to develop into a franchise forward. Heading into his draft year, Dal Colle will look to challenge for a top 10 selection and his strong puck possession game that features impressive vision and a goal scorer’s touch around the net will be highly coveted. Dal Colle has displayed that he can contribute on the defensive side of the puck and that will not go unnoticed. Dal Colle was a member of Team Canada’s 2013 Ivan Hlinka gold medal winning team posting two goals and four points in five games. Brendan Ross
