Observations:

February 2015 - Prospect Brendan Lemieux has been dealt to the Winnipeg Jets organization (Wednesday, February 11th) as part of the Evander Kane deal. Lemieux is another product of the Barrie Colts organization headed to Winnipeg. In 46 games this season with the Colts, Lemieux has set a career high 35 goals and has 50 points. His value doesn't change too much heading from one deep prospect system to another. Brendan Ross

December 2014- Lemieux is coming in hot heading into the OHL Christmas break scoring six goals in his past two games. In fact he has 11 goals in just six December contests where he's only not found the back of the twine in one of the said games. With Brendan's recent surge he already has 25 goals which is just shy of a goal per game average and has him in line to surpass his previous career high of 27 within the next couple of games. Lemiuex is among the league leaders in both goals scored (3rd with 25) and penalty minutes (2nd with 73) proving what we already new that his game is eerily similar to another Lemieux bloodline, his father Claude. This style of play makes for an intriguing combination and helps set him apart from the many other gifted prospects in the Sabres cupboard. His developement has been a plus and with that it could make him a very valuable prospect to own in leagues that count hits and PIMS. Keep tabs on him over the final stretch of the season and playoffs. Travis Watson

October 2014 – Barrie Colts forward Brendan Lemieux has been named to the OHL’s roster for the upcoming Subway® Super Series and will compete in the November 17th game in Kingston. Brendan Ross

June 2014 - Brendan Lemieux was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres at 31st overall in the second round. Lemieux is projected to be an agitating forward with a bit of a scoring touch, similar to his father Claude Lemieux. He will look to be valuable in roto leagues. -Kevin Won

May 2014 – Brendan Lemieux is a rising prospect for the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and he`s being considered a potential late first round selection. The son of former NHL antagonist Claude Lemieux, Brendan competes in a similar skilled yet gritty mold often getting under the skin of opponents. Not afraid to drop the mitts or lay out a larger player, Lemieux plays a no fear and borderline reckless game. His offensive skills are underrated as he has shown an ability to finish off plays with a soft touch. Lemieux is an impact forward that rivals despise playing against and the fact that he can play several roles up and down the lineup is certainly appealing. Lemieux owns good fantasy value with his ability to provide both points (he posted 27 goals and 53 points) and penalty minutes (147 PIM). Brendan Ross

Fantasy Outlook: C

Top nine agitating skilled winger capable of producing upwards of 50-60 points and he should fill up the penalty minute and hits columns.
