Observations:

June 2014- It wasn't a banner Memorial Cup Tournament for Max Domi and his London Knights as the host team finished 0-3. It was rumored that he was still playing with a shoulder injury, finishing at two assists in those three losses. With 2013-14 behind him, Domi is looking forward to his second training camp with the Coyotes and they expect him to be a serious contender for a roster spot for this coming season. Keith Duggan

May 2014 – Left winger Max Domi was named to the OHL's 3rd All-Star Team joining Sam Bennett, Nick Baptiste, Matt Finn, Darnell Nurse and Oscar Dansk. Domi and his Knights are preparing to represent London at the 2014 CHL Mastercard Memorial Cup and the young forward will surely have a jump in his game after being fully rested for the past month. Domi was battling a nagging shoulder injury throughout the OHL playoffs. Brendan Ross

April 2014- After scoring 93 points in 61 games finishing eighth in league scoring, Domi was nominated for OHL MVP. An interesting fantasy stat Domi also finished the season with 90 penalty minutes. Domi's London Knights are currently in the second round of the playoffs against the Guelph Storm after sweeping the Windsor Spitfires in the first round. Keith Duggan

February 2014 - For the second time this season Domi has been named OHL Player of the week. Domi now sits tied for 7th in OHL scoring. Keith Duggan

January 2014 - Max Domi is the OHL’s Player of the Month for the month of December after leading the league in scoring with 23 points in 10 games including 11 goals and 12 assists along with a plus-minus rating of plus-4. He is currently on a ten game point streak and had seven multi-point games during the point streak. Domi’s offensive game has really awaken in December and especially since not being considered for Canada’s 2014 World Junior team. When he was left off the roster at the start of the month he had 25 points in 21 games for the London Knights, now he has 57 points in 33 games and is currently 8th in the OHL in scoring. Keith Duggan

December 2013 - Since not being named to Canada’s final evaluation camp for the 2014 World Junior Tournament, Domi has been on an absolute tear in the OHL.  For the week ending December 15th, Domi was named OHL player of the week after scoring  11 points in four games netting five goals and six assists.  Domi is now tied for 20th in the league scoring with 42 points in 28 games and is currently riding a six game point streak. Keith Duggan

December 2013 - Since not being named to Canada’s final evaluation camp for the 2014 World Junior Tournament Domi has been on an absolute tear in the OHL.  For the week ending December 15 Domi was named OHL player of the week after scoring  11 points in four games , netting five goals and six assists.  Domi is now tied for 20th in the league scoring with 42 points in 28 games and is currently riding a six game point streak. December 2013 - With 25 points in 21 games Domi has not got off to the start expected from the skilled forward in the OHL this season. He was not impressive at all for the OHL in the SUBWAY Super Series, and with his slow start was not named to Hockey Canada's 25 man-national junior team final evaluation camp. Everyone knows he has the skill to be top forward for that team but his work ethic just hasn't been there this season. Hopefully this snub wakes Domi up and his play picks up to where it should be. Keith Duggan

November 2013 – Max Domi of the London Knights was named to the OHL roster for the 2013 SUBWAY Super Series. Domi’s mediocre 4 goals and 10 points through 10 games places him eighth in team scoring. Brendan Ross

September 2013 - After a very strong training camp in which it looked like the Coyotes were going to keep Max Domi for at least a few games at the start of the season, Domi was one of the last cuts at camp and sent back to London of the OHL. While disappointing we didn't get to see Domi play at the NHL level he still remains an excellent prospect. He will go back to London where he will be a leader and go to guy on a very strong team which is expected to make a run at the Memorial Cup. Keith Duggan

March 2013 - Max Domi finished as the top scorer among 2013 NHL Draft Eligible skaters with 39 goals and 87 points in 64 games with the London Knights. In the OHL Western Conference Coaches Poll, Domi finished second in voting in best playmaker and best stickhandler categories. Brendan Ross

February 2013 – Domi remains an interesting prospect. There is no doubt the small feisty Domi owns the offensive skills of a top 10 forward but the criticisms come in many forms – size and strength concerns, too individualistic, and even the fact that he has diabetes have all surfaced as alarms, whether warranted or not. Regardless, Domi is an elite skater with great puck skills, above-average distribution skills (when employed) and absolutely loves to have the puck on his stick. If Domi slides outside of the top-20, one NHL team will be absolutely thrilled. Domi is a gamer who ups his game when his team needs him the most and with so many small skilled forwards exceeding in the NHL today, Domi’s size should not concern too many teams. Brendan Ross

Fantasy Outlook: A-

Hugely skilled forward with the potential to be a top forward from this draft class. His size will remain the biggest concern but it shouldn’t hold him back given his intelligence and gamebreaking abilitiy.
